Wage/Overtime Violation

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), nonexempt employees are entitled to receive regular wages that meet the statutory minimum wage, as well as overtime pay at one-and-a-half (1.5) times one’s base pay for hours worked over forty (40) per week.

Where an employer has willfully violated your wage and hour rights under the FSLA, you may be entitled to double your lost wages. In addition, the FLSA, Pennsylvania and New Jersey each have statutes governing employee wage and hour requirements.

If you believe you have a wage or hour claim under the Fair Labor Standards Act, call Silver & Silver today for a free consultation at 610-658-0500.
